About Joseph J. Machi

Joseph J. Machi is a corporate partner and vice chair of Duane Morris’s private equity division. He represents clients in M&A, securities offerings, other complex transactions, and general commercial and governance matters. He advises private equity funds, portfolio companies, public and private companies and founder-owned businesses in M&A transactions and governance and operational issues, with experience in a wide range of industries, including, in particular, the education/EdTech sector. He also advises private credit funds in equity aspects of their investments and investors in secondary transactions. Mr Machi also represents institutional investors, venture capital firms and growth companies in equity financings.
