About Priscila Kashiwabara

Priscila Kashiwabara is a partner and head of the life sciences division at Kasznar Leonardos. She brings over 15 years’ experience in intellectual property. With a Biotechnology Master’s from USP (2003), she focuses on patent prosecution, advising clients in agriculture, biotechnology and pharmaceuticals. Registered as an Industrial Property Agent in Brazil, she is active in ABPI and OAB/SP’s IP Committee. Priscila also guides clients on Brazilian genetic resources and handles registrations with the Ministry of the Environment. She is skilled in filing plant variety applications with the Ministry of Agriculture. Her academic contributions include technical papers on biodiversity and biotechnology.
