About João Marçal

João Marçal is a partner in the litigation and arbitration practice and energy and natural resources department of Campos Mello Advogados, based in São Paulo. He is also the LatAm co-head of international arbitration at DLA Piper. João has almost 15 years of experience as a litigator. He acts as an arbitrator and represents clients in lawsuits, domestic and international arbitrations, mediations, dispute boards, and administrative procedures. His client portfolio includes construction companies and service providers in several industries, such as energy, mining, construction, pharmaceuticals and oil and gas. João is licensed by the Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo state Bars.
