About Godofredo Mendes Vianna

Godofredo Mendes Vianna is a partner at Kincaid | Mendes Vianna Advogados and has more than 30 years’ experience in commercial law, with an emphasis on shipping, international trade, insurance and energy matters, assisting clients in cross-border litigation and ADR. He is chair of the Maritime and Port Law Committee of the Rio de Janeiro Bar Association, co-ordinator of the postgraduate maritime course and port law course at the Getúlio Vargas Foundation, and a member of the Brazilian Association of Maritime Law. Godofredo has published numerous articles in journals related to shipping law.
