Vivienne M Gouthro leads the Maritime & Aviation practice group at Higgs & Johnson. With over 30 years’ experience, she brings deep expertise in corporate and commercial law. She focuses on ship and international finance, where she frequently serves as local counsel to major financial institutions across Europe and Asia. Vivienne advises on cross-border financing, maritime transactions, and commercial acquisitions and sales. She has played a key role in large real estate and commercial projects on Grand Bahama, guiding corporate and private clients through property transactions and financing. She has also dedicated over 19 years to community service as a board member of Lucaya International School and the Grand Bahama Chapter of FIDA and former board member of The Grand Bahama Power Company Limited.
