About Clemens Tobias Steins

Clemens Tobias Steins is an attorney-at-law, UPC representative, and partner in HOFFMANN EITLE’s Patent Litigation and Contracts group. After working in technology law and M&A, Tobias has specialised in patent litigation since 2007. He represents predominantly Japanese and US clients in large scale patent litigation projects, mainly in the fields of pharma/biotech and electronics. Tobias has been the lead counsel in proceedings both before German national courts and before the Unified Patent Court. He is an experienced coordinator and is known to develop a thorough understanding of the technical aspects of a case. He has represented large and medium-sized pharmaceutical and biotech companies in main and provisional injunction proceedings.
