About Maya Athanatou

Maya Athanatou is a senior lawyer with George Z. Georgiou’s dispute resolution department. Her practice focuses on cross-border commercial litigation of high-value commercial and corporate disputes, civil fraud, asset tracing and debt recovery. Maya often acts and advises on cases involving world-wide freezing orders, disclosure orders and other injunctions. She also deals with recognition and enforcement proceedings of foreign court judgments and arbitral awards. Maya holds an LLB in Law (University of Kent) and an LLM in Res Master of Law by Research (University of Kent).
