About Carlos Gomero

Carlos Gomero is a founding partner of LQG Energy & Mining Consulting, specialising in energy law, regulation, energy project financing, and administrative law. Carlos has extensive experience in the negotiation of power purchase agreements and natural gas purchase agreements and has provided advice for the settlement of disputes between energy sector agents. He has held several positions in the public sector, including adviser to the Vice-Minister for the Economy and adviser to the Vice-Minister for Energy. Graduating from Universidad San Marcos and holding a master’s degree in energy law and regulation from the University of Dundee, Carlos is a member of the Lima Bar Association.
