About Rui Cardinal Carvalho

Rui Cardinal Carvalho is a senior associate lawyer and has been at Abreu Advogados since 2017. Throughout his career he has concentrated his practice on matters related to corporate, commercial law and M&A, with a particular focus on corporate restructuring transactions. He is particularly involved in the corporate and commercial aspects of mergers and acquisitions, spin-offs and restructuring of corporate groups with a presence in Portugal, as well as transactions in Mozambique. Rui has had several articles published in specialised corporate journals and is currently studying for a PhD in Corporate Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra.
