About Andrés Sotomayor

Andrés Sotomayor is a partner at Porzio Ríos García. His professional practice focuses on counselling the firm’s clients in the areas of corporate and commercial law, customs law and international trade, as well as public law in general. Andrés obtained his bachelor’s degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile in 2007 and his master’s degree from Georgetown University in 2015. Andrés joined the firm in 2015 but, from 2019 to 2021, he was Chief of Advisors in the Ministry of Interior and advisor to the Presidency – both of which are in the Chilean government.
