About Oscar Vasquez Nieva

Oscar Vasquez Nieva is a consulting lawyer at Thorne, Echeandia & Lema Abogados. He graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. He also holds a degree in Economics from the San Ignacio de Loyola University and an MA in International Customs Law and Administration (Foreign Trade and Customs) from the University of Canberra (Australia). He has 25 years’ experience in foreign trade, customs, foreign investment and international commercial arbitration. He has worked as a senior manager at KPMG, a manager at Ernst & Young, and chief negotiator of the Trade Facilitation Table in the negotiations of free trade agreements with the European Union, Korea, Japan, the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPP), as well as the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement.
