About Mauricio Ruiz

Mauricio Ruiz is an associate at Thorne, Echeandia & Lema Abogados. He graduated from Cesar Vallejo University, specialising in customs and foreign trade. He has more than eight years of experience providing advisory, audit and representation services in litigation related to customs regimes, acceptance of tariff preferences and contentious administrative procedures related to refunds of customs duties, among others. He has been a speaker at various customs institutions (IDEM EDUCATION, B&T, CEFODA, VOCANTY) and has collaborated in the publication of many books and articles in customs magazines (ICDT of Colombia, COMEXPERU, THEMIS, ADUANANEWS of Argentina).
