Tsaopei Wei is a partner at Hylands Law Firm and specialises in legal services for the entertainment industries and the art market. He has extensive experience in art transactions, film project investments, artist management and copyright licensing. Tsaopei has represented numerous prominent film companies in copyright transactions, co-investment agreements and international distribution contracts. He has also assisted major variety shows and TV drama projects with structural design and artist agreement management. He serves as a committee member of the Art Legal Affairs Research Committee of the Beijing Entertainment Law Society, and is a Certified Auctioneer of China.
