About Violeta Saranciuc

Violeta Saranciuc is a partner in Zamfirescu Racoți Vasile & Partner’s arbitration practice group. Violeta has participated as pleading and lead counsel in important international arbitrations involving Romanian parties, organised under the rules of ICC, ICSID, VIAC, LCIA, UNCITRAL and CCIR, and regularly represents foreign clients in arbitrations in different jurisdictions. In court, Violeta provides legal representation in arbitration-related court proceedings, competition disputes and general administrative contentious and commercial litigation, especially in the construction and energy field. She is ambassador of the Vienna International Arbitral Centre (VIAC) in Romania and fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in London. Violeta also sits on the executive committee of the Rising Arbitrators Initiative (RAI).
