is a specialist property law partner with a focus on property development, having worked in the area for more than 15 years and been involved in some unique and iconic developments in the Queenstown and Southern Lakes region, particularly large residential subdivisions, golf resorts and hotel/managed apartment complexes. She has extensive experience in property acquisitions and disposals, due diligence, contracting, leasing, financing and hotel management agreements. She also has expertise in technical property law matters and is frequently asked to provide expert evidence and make specialist determinations. Kerry has most recently been involved with a number of private property developers in the region, assisting on the implementation of Special Housing Areas, which has seen several thousand more residential homes and sections delivered to the market in recent years. She is a member of the Property Law Section of the New Zealand Law Society, and of the Otago Chapter of the Property Council.
