About Lauren Whitehead

Lauren Whitehead joined the Anderson Lloyd partnership in April 2023. She brings a wealth of experience in the construction sector, having spent nine years working on public–private partnerships and construction in general in Australia, as well as working in-house with KiwiRail, leading their construction legal support and eventually becoming their acting general counsel. Lauren was selected to participate in the industry-wide committee appointed by Standards New Zealand to review NZS3910, New Zealand’s most commonly used construction contract. Lauren has acted for governments, local governments, property developers and property managers on numerous projects, including in the commercial property sector. She is a council member of the Society of Construction Law.
