Kristi Swartz is an experienced fintech lawyer and has been instrumental in developing Hong Kong’s fintech ecosystem. As the leading fintech partner at DLA Piper, she advises clients on an array of matters including structuring, licensing and corporate governance. She also provides advice in respect of digital assets, stablecoins, payments/alternative payments, the licensing and development of equity crowdfunding, robo-advisory and the running of compliant crypto-exchanges, to name just a few. Kristi led the DLA Piper team that advised the Dubai Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA) on the creation of its virtual asset specific regulatory framework.
