About Susan Rainey

Susan Rainey takes a client-focused approach to assess environmental risks and liabilities, utilising her experience as a former project manager at the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality to address complex environmental challenges. Susan evaluates environmental risks, secures regulatory closures, and manages remediation projects for a wide range of contaminants. She guides clients through permitting, enforcement, and other regulatory challenges, as well as management of building issues such as radon, asbestos, and indoor air quality. Susan is experienced with risk management tools, including environmental insurance, brownfield agreements, and recovery from responsible parties. She also provides strategic counsel on ESG and sustainability programs.
