About Elizabeth Safran

Elizabeth Safran is a staff attorney with Cowan, DeBaets, Abrahams & Sheppard LLP’s litigation group. Elizabeth has experience across entertainment fields, through a career in music and literary industries prior to graduating from Fordham University School of Law, where she competed with Moot Court and served as an editor of an IP law journal. She currently represents clients across copyright and trade mark fields. Elizabeth is a member of the Copyright Society of the USA and recently co-authored an essay in Focal Press’s Companion to Copyright and Creativity in the 21st Century, on emerging trends in copyright and artificial intelligence.
