About Barnabás Simon

Barnabás Simon is a dual qualified (Hungary and England & Wales) senior associate at Bird & Bird and advises clients ranging from start-ups to multinationals and private equity funds on strategic M&A, IPOs and other securities offerings, PE/VC investments and corporate reorganisations. He primarily focuses on advising clients in the financial services, retail and consumer, oil and gas and pharmaceutical industries on corporate transactions, but he is also experienced in complex fund regulatory matters under AIFMD and disclosure matters under MAR. Before joining the firm, he worked at other major US and UK international law firms. Barnabás is a member of the Legal Committee of the Hungarian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (HVCA).
