About Mihály Harcos

Mihály Harcos is a senior associate leading the tax law group at Bird & Bird’s Budapest office. Beyond general tax law consulting, he focuses on tax planning for transactions and intra-group restructurings across multiple countries, as well as tax litigation. He has extensive experience advising local and international companies across a wide range of industries, including energy, IT, telecommunications, and real estate. He also regularly represents clients in disputes with tax authorities, from audits and administrative appeals to court proceedings, including appearances before the European Court of Justice and the Supreme Court of Hungary.
