About Alf Johan Knag

Alf Johan Knag (partner) heads the Construction Law department at SANDS. He has long-standing experience in providing advice and resolving disputes in major building and civil engineering projects. He advises major industry participants on risk analysis, project planning, contract models and dispute resolution, including mediation, arbitration and litigation. A recognised lecturer on Norwegian standard-form contracts and civil procedure, he founded the Construction Law Association in Bergen and chaired it for ten years. He is also a certified mediator and is listed on Standard Norge’s register of experts for expert determination in construction disputes.
