About Christian von Oertzen

Christian von Oertzen is a partner at Flick Gocke Schaumburg and head of the private clients department. He has more than 30 years' experience in advising national and international clients on estate planning, probate, income tax and capital gains tax matters, and on immigrating to or expatriating from Germany. Christian lectures regularly on these legal issues and has published several manuals and articles on estate and gift tax planning and conflict of law questions. He is a member of a number of prestigious professional bodies, including the International Academy of Estate and Trust Laws.
