About Ezekiel Tuma

Ezekiel Tuma is a partner of ASAR with over 24 years of legal experience and specialises in M&A, private equity, capital markets, restructuring and insolvency, and banking and finance. His recent M&A work includes advising on ground-breaking transactions such as the acquisition of the Bahraini-based Ahli United Bank BSC by Kuwait Finance House KSCP, Kuwait’s largest Islamic bank. This transaction led to the creation of one of the largest Islamic banking groups in the region, and it represents one of the most prominent share swap acquisitions to ever occur on the Bahrain Bourse. He also advised on Americana Group’s dual listing of Americana Restaurants International Plc on the Saudi Arabia stock exchange (Tadawul) and the Abu Dhabi stock exchange (ADX). This transaction established several firsts including delivering the first company to be dual-listed on the Tadawul and the ADX. He is a member of the Uganda Law Society, the East Africa Law Society and the International Bar Association.
