About Carolina Veas

Carolina Veas is a partner at CMS Chile, leading the Fintech, Digital Markets, and Artificial Intelligence practice. She advises the main cryptocurrency exchanges and banks in Chile on digital assets, regulatory frameworks and innovation strategies. Carolina played a key role in the development of Chile’s crypto and stablecoin regulations and led high-profile litigation regarding banking access for crypto platforms. She is a member of CMS’s Global Crypto Steering Committee and lectures on crypto regulation and competition in digital markets at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. She holds an LLM in International Finance and Competition Law from University College London (UCL).
