About Charlotte Henry

Charlotte Henry leads the financial services regulation side of the Herbert Smith Freehills fintech team in Australia. She is a recognised thought leader in the area and supports the industry, including government. In the last year, she supported the launch of the Reserve Bank of Australia’s retail CBDC pilot and advised three successful fintechs in the pilot. She has broad experience in advising on fintech/payments businesses, strategic partnerships between banks and fintechs (including Australia’s first bank providing a crypto wallet), investments into fintechs and crypto deals for financial services players in this increasingly competitive and rapidly evolving landscape.
