About Mark Bardell

Mark Bardell has been a corporate partner at Herbert Smith Freehills for 14 years, having trained at the firm. He focuses on cross-border M&A (particularly acquisitions of or investments into UK companies), as well as advising corporates and funds, and has helped to close more than USD300 billion worth of transactions. Mark is named and individually ranked by Chambers and Partners and noted for his expertise. He is a general editor of a leading practioners’ text on takeovers and a contributor to other leading texts on related topics. Mark lectures annually at Cambridge University to Masters Degree in Corporate Law (MCL) students as part of the deals course.
