About Tim Leaver

Tim Leaver is a partner at Herbert Smith Freehills, with 25 years of experience in employment law and regulation. Tim advises on the full range of non-contentious and contentious employment matters, both domestically and cross-border, across a wide range of industries and sectors. He has advised many multinational clients on the establishment of their UK/European operations, including assisting in the design of their employment compliance arrangements and documentation. Tim graduated with a first-class honours MA in law from Oxford University. He is a member of the Employment Lawyers’ Association and European Employment Lawyers’ Association. Tim is described as “technically strong, extremely commercial and responsive, as well as attentive, with great rapport” by Chambers and Partners (2024).
