About Julio Veloso Caro

Julio Veloso Caro is a partner at Broseta. He began his career at Loeff Claeys Verbeke before moving to Banco Santander, where he led the legal department for Europe and the Spanish subsidiaries for seven years. He was a co-founder of the Spanish office of SJ Berwin. In October 2005, he merged his own law firm with Rodés & Sala, becoming a partner and head of the corporate finance area. Since 2009, he has been a partner at Broseta, where he is head of the private equity, funds and M&A practice. He is widely recognised as one of Spain’s leading lawyers, as acknowledged by several prestigious legal directories, including Chambers and Partners, where he is ranked in Band 2.
