About Kumari Simran

Kumari Simran is a corporate and commercial lawyer at Alsuwaidi & Company, with cross-jurisdictional experience spanning the GCC, Africa, the CIS and India. Her work includes cross-border contracts, IP management, corporate governance, employment law and dispute resolution, with a particular focus on distribution, retail-lease and sub-licensing agreements. She is admitted to the Bar Council of India and previously held the post of Law Officer in a public sector undertaking. Until July 2025 she served as in-house counsel for a large UAE distribution company. Kumari brings a pragmatic, commercially focused approach to regulatory and contractual challenges.
