About Maria Farrukh Irfan Khan

Maria Farrukh Irfan Khan is managing partner of the Dubai office of UTPS. She is a Wellesley College biochemistry graduate and holds a BA/MA (Law Tripos) from the University of Cambridge. Called to the Bar of England and Wales, she earned the Hardwicke Award and gained experience in London and New York. Specialising in patents and trade marks, with a focus on litigation and regional portfolio management. She is a member of INTA, APAA, AIPLA, AIPPI, ECTA and other leading IP associations. Her cross-jurisdictional expertise positions her to advise clients on the depth, spread and optimal enforcement of their IP portfolios in the region.
