About Joseph P. Heins

Joseph P. Heins is special counsel at Phillips Lytle. He focuses his practice on commercial real estate and complex transactions, assisting clients with leasing, sales, acquisitions, financing, public-private partnerships, project development and title matters. He works on a wide variety of property types, including retail, office, industrial, warehouse and multifamily, and has guided clients through a myriad of deals, such as ground leases, triple net (NNN) deals and 1031 exchanges. He is a member of The CCIM Institute – Upstate New York Chapter, the International Council of Shopping Centers, NAIOP Commercial Real Estate Development Association, Upstate New York Chapter, New York State Commercial Association of Realtors and the Urban Design Forum, Director’s Circle.
