María Fernanda Morales Pellecer has been a banking and finance expert at Mayora & Mayora since 2008, making partner in 2019. Prior to joining the firm, she was head of the Department for Special Verification at Guatemala’s Banking Superintendence, as well as legal counsel for various national and international banks. Her professional experience has provided her with an in-depth knowledge of complex banking and finance regulations, rarely matched by other Guatemalan jurists. She has been a university professor for over 20 years on courses such as commercial law, civil law, financial institutions.
