About Nikita Madya

Nikita Madya heads Wintertons Legal Practitioners’ energy, infrastructure and natural resources department and co-heads the firm’s corporate and commercial division. Nikita has more than 24 years’ experience handling transactions in Zimbabwe. His expertise covers greenfield energy projects, assisting clients from due diligence through licensing to project development. He continues to act as local counsel for several international law firms and clients, handling investment transactions. He advises several listed and unlisted companies in matters related to M&A, disposals, various types of contracts, financing transactions for both lenders and borrowers, corporate restructuring, competition issues and tax. Nikita is a member of the International Bar Association Power Committee.
