About Gema de la Calle

Gema de la Calle is the co-CEO and partner at Mavens, where she leads the tax department with expertise in private wealth, family businesses, corporate restructuring, tax planning, and tax controversy. Gema launched her career in 1998 at the Center for Financial Studies’ tax documentation department. In 2000, she moved to Clifford Chance’s tax department. She joined Mavens in October 2008 as the director of the tax department and was promoted to partner in 2010. Gema oversees Mavens’ international presence in the United States and LATAM and represents the firm in the BLITA INTERNATIONAL Association and she is a board member of the INTERNATIONAL PRIVATE CLIENT CONFERENCE.
