About Octaviano Duarte

Octaviano Duarte is the founding partner of DFA and has 25 years of experience advising financial institutions and corporate groups in litigation and commercial negotiations. In the field of cross-border insolvency, he leads proceedings and projects aimed at identifying and recovering assets diverted through fraud, both in Brazil and abroad. He serves as Vice-Chair of the Special Committee on Judicial Reorganization of the Federal Council of the Brazilian Bar Association and was elected as a member of the Special Technical Committee of FONAREF (National Forum on Business Restructuring and Bankruptcy. He was appointed Institutional Relations Secretary of the São Paulo Section of the Brazilian Bar Association.
