Deemple Budhia
is a partner with Russell McVeagh. Her key practice areas are securitisation; debt capital markets; banking and finance (including derivatives); and financial markets regulation, including bank regulation. Deemple is a member of the New Zealand sub-committee for the Australian Securitisation Forum, and chairs the NZ Markets Disciplinary Tribunal (NZMDT), an independent regulatory body that ensures that the integrity of the country’s markets is maintained through determining whether an issuer or market participant has breached NZX’s market rules.
