About Michael Loan

Michael Loan is the Head of Infrastructure and a partner at Russell McVeagh. Michael has extensive experience in the renewable energy sector and in the equity and development arrangements for projects and project platforms. Prior to re-joining Russell McVeagh in 2022, Michael spent eight years at Macquarie’s Green Investment Group (GIG) in London and led capital formation, syndication and partnering transactions across GIG’s principal equity investments. Michael has supported projects and advised on transactions across the renewable energy subsectors, including onshore and offshore wind, solar, waste to energy and green hydrogen.
