About Tom Morrison

Tom Morrison is a senior associate in HFW’s London office. Before relocating to London in mid-2023, Tom worked in HFW’s Melbourne office. He specialises in shipping and insurance disputes. His work spans a variety of maritime issues including advising on charterparty, bill of lading, ship-building, stevedoring contracts, ship arrest and insurance coverage disputes. Tom acts for owners, charterers, H&M underwriters, and P&I clubs in both arbitration and court-related matters. Prior to joining HFW, Tom worked in the operations department of a Hong Kong-listed shipping company in their Hong Kong and Melbourne offices where he gained invaluable commercial experience in the Asian bulk shipping market.
