Gautam Bhatikar is dual-qualified in India and the UK, and has more than 25 years' experience in offshore construction, maritime and shipping, insurance, international trade and commodities, energy and resources, commercial litigation and ADR. He has acted for various corporations, banks, ship-owners, oil and mining companies and insurers and re-insurers in high-stakes cross-border litigation and arbitration. Gautam has represented clients before ad hoc and institutional arbitrations, including SIAC, SCMA, LCIA, ICC, LMAA and GAFTA.
