Given Barnaby's onshore background in structured finance, he has a particular specialism in restructuring distressed structured finance vehicles and has assisted a wide range of market participants (issuers, noteholders, managers and service providers) in providing value-added, innovative solutions. He also regularly advises stakeholders and creditors, debtors, private equity and hedge funds, insolvency practitioners (including court-appointed liquidators) and other advisers with respect to insolvent or distressed situations. Barnaby has provided advice in numerous contentious insurance matters and to regulator-appointed clients with respect to the sale of Cayman-based insurance assets.
