Iona Wright is a regulatory and risk advisory partner at Walkers based in the BVI. She has spent over 14 years advising on financial services regulation and has considerable prudential experience, having been a trusted adviser to a number of US and Canadian headquartered banking groups. Iona has expertise across a wide range of financial services regulatory matters, including licensing and regulatory perimeter analyses, the BVI implementation of OECD tax-driven initiatives, and the BVI anti-money laundering, sanctions, beneficial ownership, data protection and virtual assets regimes.
