About Rasmus Tommerup

Rasmus Tommerup is a senior associate in Kennedys’ Copenhagen office and is admitted to the Bar in Denmark. He joined Kennedys in 2023 and previously worked at one of Denmark’s largest law firms for several years. Rasmus advises insurers on coverage and legal proceedings, focusing particularly on professional indemnity, financial lines, D&O, product liability and recourse. He specialises in the defence of construction professionals in high-value and multiparty disputes, acting for architects, engineers and contractors. He also acts in the defence of directors and officers in financial lines cases. Rasmus has solid experience in legal and arbitration proceedings, and in pre-action proceedings – including expert opinion and handling disputes in settlement negotiations.
