María Celeste Alvarado is an associate at Coronel & Pérez specialising in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions and financial transactions. She advises foreign financial institutions on financing structures for Ecuadorean borrowers and represents international investors entering the Ecuadorean market. María Celeste’s experience covers civil, commercial, procedural, corporate and administrative matters, including due diligence, joint ventures and regulatory compliance. She earned her law degree from Universidad Católica Santiago de Guayaquil and a Master’s in Procedural Law from Universidad de Especialidades Espíritu Santo, where she has also taught civil law for the past two years.
