About Eduardo Ammatuna

Eduardo Ammatuna is a partner at FERRERE, and leads the fluvial practice at the firm’s Paraguay office, advising multinationals of the stature of Cargill, Seacor (Interbarge) and Trafigura (Impala) on their fluvial operations using the Paraguay–Paraná Riverway. This includes assistance on highly complex matters, such as regulatory processes related to authorisation of companies as ship-owners, obtaining and renewing all permits and licences required to operate Paraguayan-flag river vessels, ship-owner corporate restructurings, and flag registry cessations. Eduardo has developed a practice in security businesses, assisting a major player in this area on the process of organising in Paraguay and obtaining authorisation as a private security company.
