About Patrick O’Brien

Patrick O’Brien is a senior associate at Spoor & Fisher and a registered patent attorney with over seven years’ experience in patent and design litigation across a broad spectrum of fields, including the mechanical, mining, metallurgical, electrical, chemical and pharmaceutical fields. He holds a BEng (Hons) (Chem) degree from the University of Pretoria and an LLB from the University of South Africa. Patrick is an attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
