About Aifa Shareef

Aifa Shareef of Premier Chambers LLP is an experienced chartered accountant with a strong background in tax audits and investigations. At MIRA, she conducted audits of medium, large and international taxpayers, including multinational corporations. She also led criminal investigations of tax-related offences and played a significant role in enforcing tax laws and ensuring adherence to both national and international tax standards. She was actively involved in the Tax Inspectors Without Borders (TIWB) programme and worked alongside international experts to enhance the tax systems in the Maldives.
