About Michaela Gerlach

Michaela Gerlach has a broad and diverse professional experience, including in particular labour law. After passing the Bar exam in 2000, she devoted her legal practice as in-house lawyer to Austrian freeways and public procurement law for almost nine years. In 2009, she decided to return to the private practice as legal counsel and became partner at GERLACH Rechtsanwälte in May 2011. Michaela advises and represents employers with respect to labour and employment matters in Austria. In the recent years, her focus has increasingly shifted towards corporate law and its employment law implications. She therefore completed a postgraduate qualification focusing on family-owned businesses in Austria, which will continue to receive increased attention from the firm in the future.
