About Alfredo Arocena

Alfredo Arocena is a senior associate of the Montevideo office of Dentons Jiménez de Aréchaga, focusing on corporate and financing transactions, especially private equity deals, mergers and acquisitions and project finance transactions. Among his recent experience involving private equity funds, Alfredo has assisted Vesta Group with four acquisitions of local software companies, and with the purchase and/or sales of various wind farms projects (eg, Kiyú, Vientos de Pastorale) and forestry assets (sold by Global Forest Partners). Alfredo obtained his law degree from the University of Montevideo and an LLM in banking and finance from Queen Mary University of London.
