About Fernando Jiménez de Aréchaga (Jr)

Fernando Jiménez de Aréchaga (Jr) is a partner of the Montevideo office of Dentons Jiménez de Aréchaga, with significant experience in acquisitions of portfolio companies by foreign funds. In the renewable energy sector, he participated in the acquisition of two solar projects by Atlas Renewables, of Melowind wind farm by Atlantica Yield, of Carapé wind farms by Saeta Yield (and its further sale to Brookfield), of the Kiyú and Pastorale wind farms by Cubico. He also participated in two acquisitions of forestry funds that were sold by Global Forest Partners, and in the transfers of Unidad Punta de Rieles, Educativa II and Circuito 3 PPP projects to Aberdeen (together with Bestinver in the latter).
